Hold on there Dave... You've got the wrong info based on what I heard on the video. Lightning striked on the house and caught fire and got the fireworks going. My educated guess is that the fire department wanted nobody to get hurt in escorting the remainder of the wired fireworks inside that partially burned home. If ember ashes remained in the house, that would be detrimental in holding fireworks out the house.
